Pricing Analyst – Castle Donington

As part of our newly created Commercial Emblement Team, we are now looking for a Pricing Analyst to join our team. This Is an exciting position for a data driven candidate with a passion for pricing and margin management.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the pricing data set combining internal customer / product prices with external datasets to create and maintain the pricing ‘bible’
  • Create data driven channel / customer guidelines for list pricing and establish a central governance pricing process shifting sole responsibility from sales rep
  • Working with UK SLT and group level pricing specialists, develop and implement pricing strategies with strong external benchmarks and thorough analysis
  • Monitor and manage pricing to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
  • Report monthly to the UK SLT on pricing progress recommending areas of focus where business is being lost / not won due to poor pricing policy.
  • Conduct regular reviews and updates of pricing policies and procedures
  • Police the UK organisation to ensure pricing policy is followed at all times
  • Translate the annual planning cycle margin commitments into a granular customer / product execution plan with necessary tracking to ensure it is executed

 

What are we looking for? 

We are looking for someone with a passion for data who has experience working within a commercial orientated data team with a commercial mindset and a focus on keeping things simple and effective.

  • Ideally Batchelors degree qualified or higher in a relevant business related discipline
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong data and analytical skills. Able to combine multiple datasets, interrogate data and build structured models that can be built on (i.e not just adhoc)
  • Able to communicate with sales managers and representatives and comfortable bringing their data driven conclusions to that audience
  • Excited by the challenge of being part of building a strong commercial foundation of data, process and tooling and aspiration to grow and develop
