Operational Trainer

We have recently announced our exciting new expansion plans with the opening of a brand new 280,000ft sq ft facility in Castle Donington and we are now looking for an Operational Trainer.

Reporting to the Head of Quality and Regulatory, You will deliver MHE training along with other in-house programmes, training could be the induction of new employees or existing team members needing training development.

This role will require flexibility to work on other shift patterns.

Responsibilities: 

• Maintain the training matrices to ensure they are up to date and reflect the requirements of the delegates job role.
• Deliver the training relevant to the plan, ensuring delivery is professional, consistent and delivery is uniform and to the required standard adhering to company policy & guidelines
• Ensure the timely and accurate completion of all course documentation including the setting of examinations and the preparation of individual and course assessments
• Maintain equipment and training aids, either Mediq Healthcare or externally provided, ensure that they are kept to a high standard and are current and up to date.
• Contribute to the development of training programmes by participating in scheduled reviews of materials to ensure they remain up to date and fit for purpose to in line with the company’s key business objectives
• Provide feedback to the training content owner on any recommendations to improve the quality/content of the training Materials
• Maintain technical awareness by keeping abreast of market developments, by engaging with CPD opportunities, reading trade magazines, keeping up to date with current affairs and legislation as it affects the industry
• Ensure that the training programmes are evaluated. Ensure that you adopt an ethos of continuous improvement and encourage feedback from stakeholders.
• Utilise all opportunities to engage learners in functional skills
• Remain up to date with current industry best practice regarding training techniques.

What are we looking for? 

You will be an experienced Trainer who holds an ITSSAR or RTITB qualification and has worked in a busy warehousing environment.  

It would be great if you have:

• Possess strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong communication skills, ability to speak in front of a group of people
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, acting as both a training ambassador for the site and as a mentor when required
• A strong team player, able to work with multiple internal and external stake holders, well organised and with great time management
• Highly organised and able to deal with multiple activities at one time whilst maintaining quality of delivery
• Strong functional English and maths skills
• Practical experience of coaching in the workplace
• Training delivery & facilitation skills with an understanding of learning styles and interventions to support individual learner needs
• Experiences in designing and delivering training is beneficial.
• Ability to work flexible shifts or at alternative location where required
• Driving License as there may be a requirement to travel
